Who is Maggie’s?
Maggie’s provides free, practical and psychological support to anyone living with cancer, their families and friends.
With 24 specially built centres located in the grounds of major NHS hospitals across the UK, Maggie’s offers a welcoming, useful place to go for people at every stage of cancer. Centre visitors are given free access to cancer support specialists, clinical psychologists, benefits advisors and relaxation therapists who offer individual and group support.
1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer in their lifetime. Getting a cancer diagnosis can turn your world upside down, but Maggie’s is here to offer support with stress, financial worries, physical side effects and adjusting to life with cancer.
Maggie’s support is needed more than ever and their long term aim is to establish 60 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals across the UK but they can only do that with your support.

Maggie’s and the Power of the Bike
Maggie’s knows how important it is to keep active and healthy before, during and after treatment.
Many of their centre visitors use cycling and the power of the bike to manage the physical and emotional challenges of cancer. Calum, found strength in his renewed love of cycling after his partner, who was supported by Maggie’s, died.
