Travel at a different time

The busiest times will be just before and just after events take place and during road events - could you plan your travel outside of these times? View the full event schedule and session timings.

Use the grids to see how busy the road, rail and bus networks are likely to be in your area and consider changing the day or time you travel to avoid the busiest periods.

Travel in a different way?

Certain modes of transport will be a lot busier than others. For local journeys, walking or cycling may be the best option.

If you live or work close to a road event, be aware that road closures and parking restrictions will be in place on these days. More information can be found on your local authority website.

Buses will continue to run through the area, however there may be changes to routes, timetables and stops. More information can be found on your local authority website or Traveline Scotland.
