For the first time in history, you will be able to watch multiple UCI World Championships be won on the same day in one amazing location.
The closing weekend of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships will see action across the dance floor and football pitch of Indoor Cycling , on the rocks and jumps of Trails, and on the thrilling Road and Para-Road events.

Make the most of the South!
Para-Cycling Road: Road Races
Start your journey at the base of Scotland in the stunning Dumfries & Galloway!
For the first day of your 2023 UCI Cycling Worlds journey get right up close to the best Para-Cycling riders in the world as they battle it out for rainbow glory.
Known for its lush green scapes, rocky shorelines and gorgeous beaches, the region will be playing host to the Para-Cycling Road events at the 2023 UCI Cycling World Champs.
Friday 11 August will see the first set of road races take place. Starting at the historic Crichton facility and campus, riders will tackle a 15.5km course that takes riders through picturesque country roads, along the River Nith to the quaint village of Glencaple, and back towards Crichton.
Whether it's sitting and cheering along the shores of the water with a picnic, or exploring the different types of bikes alongside the pit lane - it will be the perfect chance to witness a sport full of world class athletes and breathtaking performances.
Rainbow Jersey Opportunity: Para-Cycling Road Races
You will be able to witness not one, but 15 Rainbow Jersey's be handed out on the Friday. The Para-Cycling Road Race schedule is packed full of races, so there's plenty of opportunities to grab a snap of the iconic Rainbow bands.
The Home of the Bard: Robert Burns Birthplace Museum
Whilst exploring the rich history and landscape of Dumfries & Galloway, be sure to check out the birthplace of Scotland's most famous poet - Robert Burns. The Burns cottage houses original manuscripts, books and artwork.
Saturday 12 August
Begin in the Forest. Finish in the city.
Mountain Bike Cross-Country
After taking in the sights of Dumfries, make your way eastward to Glentress Forest to soak in the wild world of Mountain Bike Cross-Country!
Nestled in the heart of the Tweed Valley, Glentress Forest has long been the beating heart of the mountain bike community in Scotland. It also makes for a brilliant place to watch the sport!
Saturday 12 August will be a real treat as the Forest plays host to Women Elite Olympic and Men Elite Olympic (XCO) Finals. Often seen as the Crown Jewel of MTB Cross-Country, XCO is a mass start race, where endurance, technical skill and tactics are on full display.
Watching it live is intense! The fans are loud, cowbells are ringing, and you can get close enough to the riders to be able to pat them on the back up a climb!
Once the finals are done and dusted, take a short drive into Glasgow and make it just in time for the Trials Elite Finals.
If you’ve never watched Trials before, prepare to be amazed! The sport makes for a thrilling watch, and often ends in a nail biting finale, as the riders attempt to not drop any points and give their opposition the advantage.

Rainbow Jersey Opportunity: Mountain Bike Elite Cross-Country Olympic
Both the Women Elite and Men Elite XCO Finals will take place on Saturday, allowing you to catch two World Class Mountain Bike races in person! Both Rainbow Jersey's will be awarded after the races.
Hit the Trails: Glentress Forest
Glentress Forest hosts some of the finest Mountain Bike and walking trails in Scotland. If you are in need of a morning or afternoon activity be sure to hire a bike, or put on your walking shoes to explore some of the local area!

A thrilling finale!
A double bill of cycling brilliance will round-off your 2023 UCI Cycling Worlds experience.
Begin your day right with what promises to be one of the must see events at the Championships - Indoor Cycling.
Through the morning and early afternoon you will be treated to a dazzling display of daredevil bravery from the artistic cyclists, and some outstanding skill and agility in Cycle-Ball.
Women Elite Road Race
It will be the first time in UCI World Championship history that the Women’s race will close out a Championships.
There promises to be a star studded line-up of riders, including the reigning UCI World Champion, Annemiek van Vleuten, who will look to finish her career in style when she retires at the end of the Champs.
Rainbow Jersey Opportunity: Women Elite Road Race
One of the final Rainbow Jerseys of the Championships! Make sure you head down to George Square to catch what promises to be an extremely special moment in the world of cycling!
Be wowed by science: Glasgow Science Centre
Take in the elements at one of Scotland's most visited tourist attractions. The museum has over 300 interative exhibits and a brilliant programme of films showing at the venues IMAX cinema.
