Day five round-up
We've had track, time trials and BMX action on another big day at the UCI Cycling World Championships.

Back to back track success - Track and Para-cycling track
Having hit the deck early into the race, Ethan Vernon out-raced the competition to win the 19th Gold for Great Britain in today’s men’s elimination final ahead of last year’s winner Elia Viviani in third and Dylan Bibic in second.
It almost goes without saying, Neil Fachie enters a race, Neil Fachie wins. His 17th Gold medal was won in today’s men’s B sprint final.
An ecstatic Keiko Sugiura of Japan could not believe it as she stormed to victory in the final of the women’s C5 500m time trial final having put her all into the race.
The duo of Eleanor Barker and Neah Evans secure gold in a tense women's madison tonight having had to restart after a crash in the closing stages. Leading as the event restarted for 9 laps, the Great British team did enough to hold off the competition ahead of strong Australian and French riders.
More racing returns tomorrow on the track with the women’s points race and men’s madison drawing in the crowds.

Put a flake in it - BMX Freestyle Park
We've had tailwhips galore in the BMX freestyle park as the men’s and women’s medals were decided today.
Great Britain took home the men’s title as Kieran Reilly laid down back-to-back bangers to score a winning 95.80 ahead of Australian Logan Martin and the USA’s Nick Bruce.
Yet again the name at the top of the women’s table is the reigning title holder, Hannah Roberts of the USA who enjoyed a lap of honour having established herself at the top on her first run and never budged an inch.

Challengers assemble - BMX Racing
Racers were back on the track as part of the BMX Racing Challenge today, tackling the jumps and corners of the Glasgow BMX Centre. Events are underway all the way through to Sunday, so make sure you get down and check out the action.

Gran Fondo Time Trial Winners
The amateurs were back in action across 22 age categories in the individual time trial today on the east coast as they tackled a 22.8km course starting and finishing in Dundee. Incredible Dundee & Angus scenery greeted the riders as everyone from 19-89 pushed their limits in the summer sun.
